GOVIJI has experienced CAD designers who have expertise in Unigraphics, Pro/E, CATIA and Solid Edge with a combined experience of 40+ man years. We add value to our customers by providing all or part of the services needed to go from concept to the manufacture of the parts. We provide outsourced support or in-house consulting to help you balance resource loading, reduce costs and speed time-to-market. Product Development

We bring automotive and consumer product industry knowledge to design. We create designs from concepts using industrial design tools, CAD modelers, reverse engineering and prototyping tools.

Tool Design, Jigs and Fixtures

We provide high precision die design for injection molding, pressure die casting, casting and forging. We also design tools for sheet metal forming and stamping. We are especially strong in the design of custom fixtures, jigs and locators for production machining.

CAD Modeling

Accurate high quality CAD modeling is the basis for downstream uses such as NC machine code generation, FE analysis, drawings, and fixture design. We specialise in providing robust 3D CAD models and associative drawings. Our core competency includes:

Creating 3D CAD models from concept sketches or 2D CAD files
Convert Legacy drawing data or 2D CAD data into 3D CAD models
Repair and edit existing 3D CAD models

CAM - Complex NC code generation, validation

Another core competence area is the generation of tool path programs for simple 2D profiles to complex shapes for 5 axis machines. We can help with all the tasks that lead to the finish product:

High precision multi-axis tool path generation
Validation for undercuts and gouges by simulation

Reverse Engineering

We can generate CAD models from CMM derived point cloud data, or through measurements and modification of legacy models. We can also generate 3D CAD models from legacy drawings/sketches. We use similar techniques to convert styling prototypes into CAD models.

Rapid Prototyping

We provide stereo lithography files for rapid prototyping from CAD models. Though partner organizations we can also provide rapid prototypes and soft tooling.
